Sales Associate Job Description

Job Description: Manage the donations on the sales floor and the donation process from beginning to end, evaluation of donations, pricing, and follow up with customers. Provide input to the ReStore Manager and assist in achieving the sales goals.

- Meet monthly sales goals
- Work with receiving staff to keep floor full and organized
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Available to work at both ReStore locations, Merrillville and Griffith
- Working at the cash register as needed
- General product knowledge and problem solving skills.
- Follow dress code and wear designated identification as provided
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Assist customer loading purchases
- Ability to observe all safety precautions and communicate to employees
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Communicate with Manager and Receiving department daily
- Build a quality base of repeat/recurring donors and customers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Work the sales floor as well as the cash register
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and team lift loads over 100 pounds
- Other duties as assigned by the ReStore Manager
